Sun Life partners with Kitika Mobile Healthcare

Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. (“Sun Life”), the country’s leading life insurance company, and Kitika Mobile Healthcare Inc. (“Kitika”), a 24/7 mobile healthcare provider, have inked a strategic partnership.

Under the tie-up, qualified Kitika members may get personal accident insurance from Sun Life worth P50, 000 valid for one year. The program is open to members aged 18 to 64 years old and covers various occupations except for military, naval, and air service.

“Securing our health and finances has become even more relevant amid the pandemic. We’re delighted to have Kitika as our partner in helping Filipinos achieve these key goals,” Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc.  President Alex Narciso said. “It’s a step towards their brighter future.”

“Kitika’s collaboration with Sun Life goes an extra step for affordable, convenient, and comprehensive healthcare,” Kitika Mobile Healthcare, Inc. Managing Director, Jerome Sebastian said. “This milestone in healthcare will allow Filipinos to leverage a technology-driven medical solution while receiving financial assistance should the need arise.”

The partnership was formalized via a virtual gathering on Zoom, which was attended by Narciso and Sebastian, along with Sun Life CEO and Country Head Benedict Sison, Sun Life Head of Distribution and Business Development Head Deo Orpilla, Kitika Business Development Manager Mejie Jacobe-Jose, Kitika Marketing Manager Karla Gonzalvo, and Kitika Operations Manager Paz Aranzamendez-Niones.
